On the afternoon of February 5, at the National Assembly House, chaired by National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue, the Standing Committee met and voted to pass the Resolution regulating the Commemorative Medal "For the Cause of the Vietnamese National Assembly" and the Resolution regulating emulation and rewards for National Assembly deputies, National Assembly agencies, agencies under the National Assembly Standing Committee and officials and civil servants under the management authority of the National Assembly Standing Committee.
At the meeting, the National Assembly Standing Committee listened to Head of the Delegation Affairs Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh present a summary of the contents of the Submissions; Chairwoman of the Social Committee Nguyen Thuy Anh presented a report on the verification of the Resolution regulating the Commemorative Medal "For the cause of the Vietnamese National Assembly" and the Resolution regulating emulation and rewards for National Assembly deputies, agencies of the National Assembly, agencies under the National Assembly Standing Committee and officials and civil servants under the management authority of the National Assembly Standing Committee.

Head of the Delegation Affairs Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh said that the Medal "For the Cause of the Vietnamese National Assembly" is awarded to individuals who have contributed to the development of the National Assembly. The Delegation Affairs Committee proposed 8 groups of people to receive the Medal.
Regarding the Resolution regulating emulation and rewards for National Assembly deputies, agencies of the National Assembly, agencies under the National Assembly Standing Committee and cadres and civil servants under the management authority of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Head of the Delegation Affairs Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh stated that in order to ensure sufficient conditions for considering the award of emulation titles and high-level rewards according to regulations, it is necessary to consider and award all emulation titles and rewards according to the provisions of the Law on Emulation and Reward with the following names:

Emulation titles for individuals: The title of Emulation Fighter of the National Assembly Office is decided by the National Assembly Standing Committee; the title of Emulation Fighter at the grassroots level and Advanced Worker is decided by the Standing Committee of the Ethnic Council , the National Assembly Committees, and the Committees under the National Assembly Standing Committee.
Emulation titles for collectives: Emulation Flag of the National Assembly's agencies, Excellent labor collective, Advanced labor collective decided to award by the National Assembly Standing Committee; Form of award: Certificate of Merit awarded by the National Assembly Standing Committee.
Regarding the subject of launching emulation, the Delegation Affairs Committee proposed that the National Assembly Standing Committee launch and direct the emulation movement. In addition, the Delegation Affairs Committee also proposed regulations in the Resolution on the continuity of emulation titles as a basis for considering the awarding of emulation titles, and higher forms of commendation implemented according to the guidance of the National Assembly Standing Committee.
Discussing at the meeting, the opinions of the National Assembly Standing Committee highly appreciated the Delegation Affairs Committee and the Social Affairs Committee for their close coordination and prompt acceptance of all opinions of the National Assembly Party Delegation and the National Assembly Standing Committee to complete the draft Resolution to submit to the National Assembly Standing Committee at this meeting. In addition, opinions also suggested that the appendices should be further reviewed to be more fully reflected.
Regarding the Resolution regulating the Medal "For the cause of the National Assembly of Vietnam", there are opinions suggesting to consider more clearly regulating the cases of re-issuance; it is necessary to soon have a document guiding the assessment authority of the Standing Committee of the Nationalities Council, the Standing Committees of the National Assembly Committees for full-time delegates working under their agencies.
The Standing Committee of the National Assembly voted to pass the Resolutions.
With 100% of the members of the National Assembly Standing Committee participating in the vote, the National Assembly Standing Committee passed the Resolution regulating the Medal "For the cause of the National Assembly of Vietnam" and the Resolution regulating emulation and rewards for National Assembly deputies, agencies of the National Assembly, agencies under the National Assembly Standing Committee and officials and civil servants under the management authority of the National Assembly Standing Committee .
