On the afternoon of February 5th, at the National Assembly building, under the chairmanship of National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue, the Standing Committee met and voted to approve the Resolution stipulating the Commemorative Medal "For the Cause of the Vietnamese National Assembly" and the Resolution stipulating emulation and commendation for National Assembly deputies, National Assembly agencies, agencies under the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, and officials and civil servants under the management authority of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly.
At the session, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly heard a summary of the submissions presented by the Head of the Delegation Affairs Committee, Nguyen Thi Thanh; and the report on the verification of the Resolution stipulating the "For the Cause of the Vietnamese National Assembly" Commemorative Medal and the Resolution stipulating emulation and commendation for National Assembly deputies, National Assembly agencies, agencies under the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, and officials and civil servants under the management authority of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, presented by the Chairwoman of the Social Affairs Committee, Nguyen Thuy Anh.

According to Nguyen Thi Thanh, Head of the Delegation Affairs Committee, the "For the Cause of the Vietnamese National Assembly" commemorative medal will be awarded to individuals who have contributed to the development of the National Assembly. The Delegation Affairs Committee has proposed eight groups of recipients for the medal.
Regarding the Resolution stipulating emulation and commendation for National Assembly deputies, National Assembly agencies, agencies under the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, and officials and civil servants under the management authority of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, Head of the Delegation Affairs Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh stated that to ensure eligibility for awarding high-level emulation titles and commendations as prescribed, it is necessary to fully consider and award all emulation titles and commendations as prescribed by the Law on Emulation and Commendation, with the following names:
National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue presided over the session.
Individual emulation titles include: the title of Emulation Soldier of the National Assembly Office, awarded by the Standing Committee of the National Assembly; and the titles of Emulation Soldier at the grassroots level and Advanced Worker, awarded by the Standing Committee of the National Assembly , the Committees of the National Assembly, and the Departments under the Standing Committee of the National Assembly.
Awards for collectives: Emulation flag of the National Assembly's agency, Outstanding Labor Collective, Advanced Labor Collective awarded by the Standing Committee of the National Assembly; Commendation certificate awarded by the Standing Committee of the National Assembly.
Regarding the entity initiating the emulation movement, the Committee on Delegate Affairs proposed that the Standing Committee of the National Assembly initiate and direct the emulation movement. In addition, the Committee on Delegate Affairs also proposed that the Resolution include a provision on the continuity of emulation titles as a basis for awarding emulation titles and higher forms of commendation, implemented according to the guidance of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly.
During the session, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly highly appreciated the close coordination and prompt action of the Delegation Affairs Committee and the Social Affairs Committee in fully incorporating the opinions of the National Assembly Party Caucus and the Standing Committee of the National Assembly to finalize the draft Resolution for submission to the Standing Committee of the National Assembly at this session. In addition, opinions were also suggested that the appendices should be further reviewed to ensure greater completeness.
Regarding the Resolution on the Commemorative Medal "For the Cause of the Vietnamese National Assembly," some opinions suggest considering clearer regulations on cases for awarding replacements; and that guidance documents on the authority of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly's Ethnic Council and the Standing Committees of the National Assembly's Committees to evaluate full-time representatives working in their respective bodies should be issued soon.
The Standing Committee of the National Assembly voted to approve the Resolutions.
With 100% of the members of the National Assembly Standing Committee voting in favor, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly adopted a Resolution stipulating the Commemorative Medal "For the Cause of the Vietnamese National Assembly" and a Resolution stipulating emulation and commendation for National Assembly deputies, National Assembly agencies, agencies under the National Assembly Standing Committee, and officials and civil servants under the management authority of the National Assembly Standing Committee .
