Accordingly, the People's Committee of Gia Lai province decided to reclaim land of Biophap Company Limited (headquartered at Kon Tu Rang village, Mang Canh commune, Kon Plong district, Kon Tum province and contact address at 110 Hoang Thi Loan, Quang Trung ward, Kon Tum city, Kon Tum province); the reclaimed land area is 90,445.5 m2 .
The recovered land location belongs to plots 01 and 02, on map sheet number: measurement extract 01-2017 (land area 40,001.3 m 2 ) and plot number: 01, on map sheet number: measurement extract 022017 (land area 50,444.2 m 2 ) in Phu Hoa town, Chu Pah district, Gia Lai province.
Reason for land reclamation: The investment project of an ecological resort combined with organic farming according to international standards in Chu Pah district of Biophap Company Limited was terminated according to Decision No. 259/QD-SKHĐT dated December 10, 2021 of the Department of Planning and Investment and it has been over 24 months since the date of termination of the investment project but Biophap Company Limited has not been able to sell the assets attached to the land in accordance with the law.
In the notice, the Provincial People's Committee requested the progress of land recovery within 15 days from the date of the end of the land recovery notice. Biophap Company Limited is responsible for handling the assets on the land within 45 days from the date of receiving the land recovery notice without compensation for the land, assets attached to the land and remaining investment costs on the land.
In addition, the Provincial People's Committee requested the Departments of Agriculture and Environment, Construction, Finance; Gia Lai Provincial Tax Department (Tax Branch XIV); Chu Pah District People's Committee; Biophap Company Limited and related units to implement the above notice.
