Foreign Trade University is a place where many excellent students study. Therefore, sometimes Dieu Linh feels self-conscious and small. However, the valedictorian realizes that pressure is like a fire that tests gold, reminding us to try harder every day.

Dieu Linh is a former student of Nguyen Trai High School, Hung Yen Province (Vu Thu District, former Thai Binh Province). “We will learn how to turn pressure into motivation, turn effort into opportunity so that youth can become a journey of dynamism, courage and creativity,” Dieu Linh shared.

Valedictorian Nguyen Le Hien Mai (former student of Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted, Phu Tho) shared: "The journey ahead has many opportunities but also many difficulties awaiting."

Before becoming the national valedictorian, Hien Mai had achieved many impressive achievements when she won the first prize in the provincial Chemistry competition and was directly admitted to the Chemistry class of Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted. During her three years of high school, the female student always maintained a stable performance with a GPA above 9.5, in which the three subjects of block A00 often achieved from 9.8 to 10 points.

Hien Mai and Dieu Linh are two of the 10 national valedictorians, the valedictorians of the entire school, representing the new students - trainees, taking turns sharing their feelings, expectations and goals on the upcoming 4-year university journey.

At the Welcome Ceremony for the new school year 2025 - 2026 this morning (September 17), Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Thu Huong - Principal of Foreign Trade University affirmed that the 2025-2026 school year marks the 65th anniversary of the school's establishment and development.
