In the spirit of Resolution 57/NQ-CP and the Law on Digital Technology Industry, encouragingeducational institutions to promote innovation and start-ups in the field of digital technology, attracting investment and implementing sandbox testing in higher education institutions, Centers for Innovation and Start-ups, the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) has developed and launched the P-Coin Green Credit System, which is considered a pioneering step, becoming the first university to test blockchain technology towards applicability and encouraging a green lifestyle on the Academy's campus.

P-Coin is designed as an internal digital credit system, where positive activities such as cycling, picking up trash, planting trees or donating blood, etc. are recorded and converted into P-Coin reward points. These activities are encouraged to be widely deployed in all 9 training facilities of the Academy, with the expectation that nearly 30,000 students, staff and lecturers of the Academy will participate from the 2025-2026 school year.

Speaking at the system launch ceremony on July 5, Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Quang Anh - Deputy Director of the Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology - emphasized: “The P-Coin Green Credit System is not just a simple digital technology application. It contains the aspiration to build a dynamic, civilized school community, a green, sustainable learning environment, rich in community awareness. Through P-Coin, good deeds, positive habits such as cycling, picking up trash, planting trees, donating blood ... will be recognized by this friendly, humane "digital currency".
This is how PTIT's young lecturers bring technology closer to real life, making every good deed a part of PTIT students' digital culture."

After the launching ceremony, PTIT teachers and students together experienced the activity of cycling to accumulate points on the PTIT Green Edu Bike application. From the digital coins accumulated on the app, students can convert them into utilities right on the Academy's campus such as paying at the canteen, coffee shop, parking fee, library, gym...

Through this project, PTIT not only aims to test advanced digital technology, but also aims to build a green, healthy and creative learning space – where students are encouraged to act for the community and develop skills in the digital environment.

With the roadmap from today's experiment to the future digital ecosystem, the P-Coin Ecosystem will continue to expand in scale and functionality, aiming to build an internal digital financial playground, integrating digital assets, activity credits, and a modern academic interaction platform for the PTIT student community. The project is not only a management tool or a positive behavior incentive, but also an important experimental step in the process of comprehensive digital transformation of higher education.
The P-Coin Green Token System is a groundbreaking initiative that combines blockchain technology with activities to promote green living on campus. This is PTIT's pioneering step in realizing the policy of innovation and applying digital technology in the university environment. Users can interact through applications in the ecosystem to connect the digital world and real-life behaviors. However, P-Coin is only for internal use, does not have the function of converting into real money, does not allow buying, selling or speculating, and is fully compliant with Vietnamese law.
