On the afternoon of November 21, the Working Group implementing Project 06 of the Government and Hanoi City held a conference to discuss the implementation of the project's key tasks.

Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Ha Minh Hai said that the conference aimed to assess the situation and results of implementing key tasks of Project 06 in 2024. These are important tasks that the Government 's Project 06 Implementation Working Group entrusted Hanoi to pilot with the expectation of replicating nationwide.

“Hanoi identifies this as not only a responsibility but also an opportunity for the city to exploit and effectively use population data; bring the most practical benefits to people and businesses; and promote socio-economic development,” said Mr. Ha Minh Hai.

Regarding the development of platform applications under Project 06, including the application "Citizen of the Digital Capital" - iHanoi, by the end of October 2024, after only 4 months of application implementation, more than 1 million people had registered accounts.

The iHanoi application has received 17,083 feedbacks and recommendations from people and businesses. Of these, 14,398 feedbacks and recommendations have been processed, accounting for 84.3%. There are 7,194 feedbacks evaluated by people, the number of satisfied and accepted evaluations accounts for 55%.

Hanoi has also integrated VNeID into iHanoi. Therefore, from November 11, people can use VNeID accounts to log in on the iHanoi application.

According to the Hanoi People's Committee, integrating VNeID into iHanoi can be considered a big step forward, bringing more benefits to the people of the capital.

Hanoi is also the first locality to complete the pilot project and establish a Public Administration Service Center under the direction of the Prime Minister. The Center operates on the basis of an administrative procedure information system connected to the National Public Service Portal, national databases, specialized databases, etc.

According to Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Long, Deputy Minister of Public Security, the results of Hanoi's implementation of Project 06 have contributed significantly to leading and inspiring other localities to implement the project. These results have contributed to the formation of an administrative system in the direction of digital government, digital economy, digital society, and forming habits for people to participate in the digital society in the future.

Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Long suggested that Hanoi direct departments and branches to ensure that all cadres have full awareness, unity, and responsibility for implementing digital transformation. “Hanoi needs to be an exemplary, pioneering, and leading locality in digital transformation in the coming time,” the Deputy Minister of Public Security shared.

According to Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh, the biggest result of implementing Project 06 in the area recently is changing the awareness of staff, especially leaders, about digital transformation.

At the conference, Mr. Tran Sy Thanh asked the members of the Steering Committee of Hanoi City to quantify the value that people enjoy and this is the ultimate goal of the digital transformation and Project 06 of the Government.

"People must enjoy the same services in different areas, gradually eliminating the gap between rich and poor, creating social justice," said Mr. Tran Sy Thanh.
