My Dinh National Stadium is located in Nam Tu Liem District, Hanoi . Inaugurated in 2003, My Dinh Stadium has a capacity of about 40,000 spectators, and is the venue for many major events such as the SEA Games, AFF Cup, and international matches of the Vietnam football team.
Although it is a national stadium, My Dinh Stadium has been repeatedly complained about the quality of the grass as well as the degraded facilities, and the lack of investment in repairs and upgrades. In recent tournaments with the participation of the Vietnam National Team, My Dinh National Stadium has not been chosen as the official stadium.
At the ASEAN Cup 2024 - where the Vietnamese team won the championship, the stadium chosen to host matches with the national team is Viet Tri Stadium (Phu Tho province).
Most recently, in the opening match of the third qualifying round of the AFC Asian Cup 2027, which took place on March 25, Go Dau Stadium (Binh Duong province) was the venue for the match between the Vietnam National Team and the Laos National Team, with our team winning.
