The Prime Minister approved Software Park No. 2, part of the expansion of the Da Nang Concentrated Information Technology Zone.

Accordingly, the Prime Minister has decided to approve the expansion of the Da Nang Software Park, a concentrated information technology zone, with a total expanded land area of ​​28,573 ^m² , located in Thuan Phuoc ward, Hai Chau district, Da Nang city.

The scope of expansion for the Da Nang Software Park Information Technology Zone is defined in Decision No. 4179/QD-UBND dated September 17, 2019, of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, approving the 1/500 scale construction plan for Da Nang Software Park No. 2.

Da Nang Software Park No. 2 ensures that it fulfills the functions and tasks of a concentrated information technology zone.

Businesses implementing projects in the information technology sector and investing in Software Park No. 2 are entitled to incentives stipulated in Government Decree No. 154 and other preferential policies applicable to concentrated information technology zones as prescribed by law.

The initial investment for the Da Nang Software Park No. 2 Project was 799 billion VND. During construction, an additional 186 billion VND was added, bringing the total investment to over 986 billion VND.

This project includes a 20-story ICT office building; an 8-story ICT1 headquarters office building; an 8-story ICT2 headquarters office building combined with a cafe; along with a system of parking lots, internal transportation, landscaping, and a comprehensive technical infrastructure system…

To date, Da Nang has 2,450 digital technology businesses, averaging 2.3 technology businesses per 1,000 people, ranking second nationwide and three times the national average; and employs 46,000 digital technology professionals.
