On the morning of March 4th, the Government held its regular monthly meeting for February, online with 34 provinces and cities.
Concluding the meeting, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh requested ministries, sectors, and localities to closely monitor the situation, respond flexibly and effectively, ensuring macroeconomic stability, controlling inflation, maintaining major balances, and promoting double-digit growth.
The government assessed that in February and the first two months of 2026, the global situation continued to be complex and unpredictable, particularly with geopolitical tensions and conflicts erupting in some countries. Thanks to decisive leadership and management, and the involvement of the entire political system, the people, and businesses, the macroeconomic situation remained fundamentally stable, inflation was controlled, growth was boosted, and major economic balances were ensured.
In the coming period, given the negative impacts on the global situation, the Prime Minister requested that ministries, sectors, and localities monitor the situation and implement timely adaptation measures as directed by the Central Committee, reporting daily to the Government so that the Government can report to the Politburo and the Secretariat.
