According to Xinhua, Mr. Li made this statement while visiting Adelaide Zoo in Adelaide, South Australia. He arrived in Adelaide on June 15th, beginning a four-day visit to Australia. Mr. Li and Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese are scheduled to hold talks in Canberra today (June 17th) to discuss a range of issues, including the two countries' competition in the Pacific .
This visit marks Li as the highest-ranking Chinese official to visit Australia in seven years and is expected to bring greater trade prospects after Beijing lifted sanctions on a range of key Australian exports.
