Implementing Official Dispatch No. 190/CV-TVT dated August 19, 2025 of Dien Bien Provincial Library on ensuring uninterrupted mobile service and circulation of information resources after implementing the 2-level local government organization model. From September 16-27, 2025, the Provincial Library organized 13 multimedia mobile library trips to schools in Na Tau and Na Hy communes; Donated more than 1,000 copies of core books to the library of Chieng So Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities, Chieng So commune. With the policy of " Books looking for readers ", the mobile library trips brought knowledge to students and at the same time contributed to forming reading habits for students, training them in the skills to choose books and newspapers with good content, high educational value suitable for the psychology of their age; Help children learn from good examples, good deeds, historical figures and events, etc. to serve them well in their studies, improve their knowledge, and shape their personalities, thereby promoting education about reading as well as respecting, preserving and protecting books.
Each “Light of Knowledge” mobile library trip of the Provincial Library is truly an important tool in developing a reading culture. That is to bring knowledge and reading culture closer to readers, especially the communities in remote and mountainous areas, areas with difficult access to information; narrow the cultural and educational gap between urban and rural areas, and at the same time develop reading habits in the community in the province.
