Realizing the goals of the National Digital Transformation Program and Resolution No. 57 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation, the Quang Ninh education sector has been and is continuing to make efforts to apply modern technology to innovate and improve the quality of management, teaching and learning. Digital transformation has gradually become a key factor promoting fundamental and comprehensive innovation in education and training in the digital age.

An English lesson using artificial intelligence and IT software at Nguyen Ba Ngoc Primary School creates excitement and effective learning for students.

Nguyen Ba Ngoc Primary School (Ha Long Ward) is currently one of the leading educational institutions in applying IT and software, digital utilities in teaching and learning activities. Thereby, not only helping the staff and teachers to implement school management and teaching in a modern and highly effective direction, but also helping students - the beneficiaries of educational activities - to have more open and flexible thinking in learning right from primary school.

Teacher Hoang Thi Le Hang, Nguyen Ba Ngoc Primary School, said: Realizing the importance of applying IT, digital transformation in educational activities and implementing the direction and orientation of the industry and the school, our team of teachers has proactively and actively researched, studied, and tested the application of new technology in teaching activities. Through research, I found that the FutureLang multi-platform foreign language learning application is very effective in providing diverse learning content, high interactivity and practical application in daily life, so I have equipped it to teach students. Currently, the English teachers of Nguyen Ba Ngoc School all apply this teaching software and show positive results.

Not only stopping at English, in recent times, 100% of teachers at Nguyen Ba Ngoc Primary School have proactively exploited digital resources, applied AI, innovated teaching methods; used software to manage scores and electronic transcripts to update information and monitor the quality of students' learning and training.

The school has also built a digital learning materials warehouse, effectively exploited the Ministry's common learning materials warehouse, enhanced student assessment online, applied teaching software, artificial intelligence, and electronic lectures; 100% of the school's classrooms have IT equipment; student and teacher management systems and educational reports operate stably.

The e-library is deployed with management software and digital database, initially connecting to the learning material warehouse. At the same time, the school also deploys many online teaching software and learning management systems (LMS) to support students in learning and reviewing. Online learning software such as Zoom, Google Meet... are used in online lessons or blended learning classes, Microsoft Teams applications...

The school has effectively deployed digital transcripts according to the guidance of the Ministry of Education and Training , contributing to promoting the digital transformation process in education associated with digital platforms, building shared digital resources, participating in the development of digital government and digital society; actively participating in the development of a shared digital science repository for the entire industry.

In particular, the school has been increasing the exploitation and application of artificial intelligence in teaching and learning activities. At the same time, it is applied to all work contents in the school such as administrative management automation, electronic books, facilities management, decision support, early forecasting, policy effectiveness assessment, resource allocation optimization...

Ms. Vu Thu Huong, Vice Principal of Ha Long Primary School, shared: In recent times, Ha Long Primary School has regularly updated, trained, and improved digital skills for staff, teachers, employees, students and parents to meet the requirements of digital transformation in the education and training sector. We also focus on investing in facilities and IT infrastructure; training staff in IT skills to continuously promote innovation in educational methods, making teaching and learning in the digital environment a regular, continuous, high-quality and effective activity. In the 2025-2026 school year, the school will also launch the contest "Application of artificial intelligence AI in education" to improve skills in applying IT and digital transformation in teaching and learning activities; building a quality digital learning resource to serve teaching and learning activities.

Not only stopping at a few pilot models, the efforts of the Department of Education and Training of Quang Ninh province in applying IT and digital transformation are also shown in impressive numbers when currently the whole province has 253/627   educational institutions from kindergarten to high school   (accounting for nearly 40.4%)   Recognized by the Ministry of Education and Training as having achieved level 3 (the highest level) in digital transformation. 100% of educational institutions in the province have developed plans and organized online teaching and learning on the LMS platform; built digital learning materials, online question banks to meet students' self-study and self-training requirements...
