The workshop aims to find solutions to promote innovation, help improve competitiveness and sustainable development for the business community and cooperatives, contributing to the increasingly sustainable and effective development of Dak Lak province's agricultural economy .

On August 29, Dong A University in collaboration with the Institute of European and American Studies (Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences ) and the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF) Vietnam Office organized a scientific workshop: Practices and solutions to promote innovation in agricultural enterprises and cooperatives in Dak Lak province.

Dr. Tran Ngoc Thanh, Acting Director of the Central Highlands Institute of Agriculture and Rural Development (Dong A University) spoke at the workshop.

The workshop is a forum connecting managers, experts, scientists and the business community and cooperatives, thereby finding practical directions, contributing to the development of Dak Lak province's agricultural economy in an increasingly sustainable and effective manner.

Speaking at the workshop, Dr. Tran Ngoc Thanh, Acting Director of the Central Highlands Institute of Agriculture and Rural Development (Dong A University) said: In the context of an increasingly deeply integrated economy, innovation has become a key driving force to help agricultural enterprises and cooperatives improve their competitiveness, increase product value and develop sustainably.

Dak Lak province, with its advantages in agriculture, especially its typical products such as coffee, pepper, rubber, durian and fruit trees, is facing many opportunities but also many challenges in the process of developing and affirming its brand in the domestic and international markets. The application of science and technology, innovation in management, production and consumption of products therefore plays a very important role.

At the workshop, managers, experts, scientists and representatives of enterprises and agricultural cooperatives in the province discussed in depth, analyzed the current situation of innovation, discussed specific solutions to overcome difficulties, and took advantage of opportunities for development.

Through assessing the achievements and limitations, cooperatives and farmers can draw lessons and propose support policies, technological solutions and effective cooperation models to strongly promote innovation; especially promoting the implementation and bringing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation; Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW dated May 4, 2025 of the Politburo on private economic development into life.
