At the conference, leaders of the Political Academy and the Political Officer School reported on the results of preparations for the organization of the Party Congress of the unit for the 2025-2030 term, focusing on the main contents, including drafting a political report; preparing personnel for the new term; organization plan and other work to ensure the congress.
Next, the representative of the Organization Department (General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army) reported the summary of the assessment results of the competent agencies on the preparation work for the congresses of the Party Committees of the two schools.

After listening to the reports, delegates attending the conference gave directions, comments, and added some content to help the Party Committees of the two schools do a good job of preparing and successfully organizing the congress for the 2025-2030 term.
Concluding the conference, Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet acknowledged that the Party Committee of the Political Academy and the Party Committee of the Political Officer School had made efforts, actively coordinated, closely followed the direction and guidance of superiors, and done a good job of preparing in all aspects, basically meeting the requirements on quality and progress.

Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet emphasized that the Political Academy and the Political Officer School are the training facilities for political cadres of the Army, so the organization of the congresses at the two schools must be exemplary, in compliance with the principles, regulations as well as instructions and guidance from superiors. At the same time, he requested that the Party Committees of the two schools continue to research and closely follow the goals of building the Army to determine the direction of leadership in implementingeducational and training tasks, especially the output standards for students and the strategy for building and developing the school in the coming time.

In particular, the leadership orientation in the new term of the two schools must be placed in the general context of the country and the Army, in which there needs to be specific and appropriate research and assessment of aspects that directly impact the task of educating and training political cadres in order to set out appropriate orientations, goals and targets.
Along with that, closely follow the documents of the Party Congress at higher levels to determine and adjust the motto, key tasks, and leadership solutions to ensure unity, suitability, and practicality.

In addition to the above contents, Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet also oriented and suggested some contents, requiring the Party Committees of the two schools to continue reviewing, researching, and adjusting the congress theme to ensure strictness and accuracy; the congress motto needs to be more concise, succinct, coherent, and clear.
For the leadership performance evaluation section, there should be a detailed and specific comparison appendix, thereby highlighting the achieved results, and at the same time comparing and pointing out the points that have not been achieved, in order to draw lessons and have effective leadership solutions to overcome them in the new term.

Regarding the groups of solutions and breakthroughs in the draft political reports of the two schools, Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet requested that they be more specifically and in more detail, closely linked to the work of improving the quality of staff and lecturers and building smart schools, the digital transformation process as well as the quality and output standards for students, well meeting the requirements of building political cadres in the Army in the new period.

Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet agreed with the time to hold the congress; requested the Party Committees of the two schools to fully absorb the opinions, directions, and contributions of the delegates, and continue to supplement and perfect the draft political report to ensure the highest quality.
