The Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee announced that the first Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, is scheduled to take place from October 13 - 15, 2025.

On the evening of September 28, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee announced the expected time for the first Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, to take place from October 13 - 15, 2025.

This notice was sent by the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee to the Party Committees of communes, wards, special zones and the Party Committees at the grassroots level directly under the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee to directly disseminate to each delegate attending the first Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030 to arrange work, fully attend the content and working program of the congress.

Accordingly, on October 11 and 12, delegates attended pre-congress activities, including visiting typical works of the city (October 12). On the morning of October 13, delegates attended the congress preparatory session.

All day on October 14 and the morning of October 15, delegates attended the congress (official and closing sessions).

Currently, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee has 6 members, including Secretary Tran Luu Quang and 5 deputy secretaries: Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc (Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee), Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc (Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee), Mr. Vo Van Minh (Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council), Mr. Dang Minh Thong and Ms. Van Thi Bach Tuyet.

The Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee has 173 subordinate Party Committees. According to the plan of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress summoned 550 delegates to attend.
