The Law on Occupational Safety and Health stipulates that enterprises must organize periodic health examinations for employees at least once a year. For those who do heavy, toxic, dangerous work, or are disabled, elderly, or minor workers, they must be examined at least once every 6 months.
According to Mr. Nguyen Tai Soa, Deputy Head of the Department of Labor - Employment (Department of Home Affairs), based on the actual situation and production schedule, every year, companies and units in the province sign contracts with qualified medical facilities to organize health check-ups for employees. The check-ups have helped detect and promptly treat occupational diseases, helping employees understand their health status to have a reasonable work plan, feel secure in production and business, contributing to the overall development of the company and enterprise.

When workers are sick or have unexpected accidents, they are given first aid and good care.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Dam Sen, member of the Safety and Hygiene Committee, in charge of the first aid department of Rapexco Export Rattan Processing Enterprise (Hoa Hiep Industrial Park, Dong Hoa Town), the female workforce in this enterprise accounts for more than 70%. Protecting the health of workers is protecting the interests of the enterprise. Therefore, every year the enterprise organizes health check-ups for workers in general and female workers in particular. When workers are cared for and looked after, each person will feel secure in their work, improving productivity as well as product quality.
