The film, directed by Swedish director Bo Öhlén, captures the atmosphere in Stockholm on April 30, 1975, with moments when Swedish people took to the streets to celebrate Vietnam's victory , singing songs of peace, expressing solidarity with the Vietnamese people. In addition to the parade scenes and emotional speeches, the film also records the political and material support from the international solidarity movement.

Mr. Ta Quang Dong, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, commented: " Vietnam's Victory is an important documentary. Swedish Ambassador Johan Ndisi commented that the documentary reminded that in 1975, people around the world , including Sweden, stood up to support Vietnam, demonstrating humanistic values of peace and solidarity, and hoped that the film would continue to inspire future generations.
