The economic picture is full of bright colors.
From the beginning of the year, the commune identified its main task as stabilizing the organizational structure after the merger, while effectively implementing economic development solutions suitable to the practical conditions. As a result, many key economic indicators met and exceeded the set targets.
Officials in Tien Lu commune regularly promote and encourage the people to actively protect a green, clean, and beautiful living environment.
In the agricultural sector, the crop structure continues to shift towards improving quality and efficiency. The total cultivated area in 2025 reached nearly 3,440 hectares, an increase compared to the same period. High-quality rice varieties accounted for over 75% of the area; mechanization was widely applied, with over 90% of land preparation and over 80% of harvesting done by machine. Total food production reached over 13,800 tons, contributing to ensuring food security and increasing people's income.
Livestock farming continues to play a crucial role in the agricultural economic structure, with a total pig population of over 10,000, poultry approximately 153,000, and cattle and buffalo over 2,500. The locality is promoting livestock farming models according to VietGAP standards, gradually increasing production value and effectively controlling diseases.
Aquaculture remains stable with an area of over 300 hectares and an estimated production of approximately 750 tons. Despite being affected by storms and heavy rains, this sector continues to make a positive contribution to agricultural production value.
Thanks to skillful community mobilization, many households in Tien Lu commune voluntarily demolished their fences and donated land for the construction of rural roads.
Besides agriculture, industry, handicrafts, and trade and services also recorded many positive signs. The entire commune has more than 20 small-scale handicraft production facilities operating in the fields of small-scale mechanics, civil carpentry, and agricultural product processing, with an estimated production value of over 10 billion VND, an increase of about 3% compared to the same period, creating jobs for hundreds of local workers. Revenue from trade and services reached about 30 billion VND, an increase of 5% compared to the previous year. Telecommunications and Internet infrastructure has been invested in comprehensively, creating conditions to promote digital transformation in production and business.
Notably, total budget revenue in the area reached over 500 billion VND, far exceeding the set plan. The effective exploitation of revenue sources, especially from land use rights auctions, has created important resources for infrastructure development and the implementation of socio-economic tasks.
Diverse drivers of development
Along with economic development, Tien Lu commune has focused its resources on investing in infrastructure construction. In 2025, the locality received and implemented many transitional projects from communes before the merger; accelerating the progress and putting into use projects such as the bypass road for Provincial Road 305, rural transportation routes, and residential area lighting systems. The 100% disbursement rate of public investment capital demonstrates the decisive leadership and management of the local government.
Land clearance work is being carried out vigorously to implement major projects such as the western ring road of Vinh Phuc city and the connecting routes to Lap Thach II Industrial Park. These projects not only contribute to completing the transportation infrastructure system but also open up opportunities to attract investment and promote economic development in the coming years.
Alongside economic development, the socio-cultural sectors of the commune continue to flourish.
The Xuân Lôi Kindergarten (Tiên Lữ commune) boasts a spacious and modern classroom with complete teaching and learning equipment.
The education sector has been strengthened and its quality improved. The entire commune has 12 schools, 100% of which meet national standards, with many schools achieving level 2 standards. The percentage of students completing the primary school program is 100%, and the percentage graduating from lower secondary school is over 98%.
Public health care has received attention. The merged health stations have been rationally organized and operate stably; in the year, they provided examination and treatment for more than 12,500 patients.
Social welfare policies have been fully and promptly implemented. The locality has completed the demolition of 39 temporary and dilapidated houses for disadvantaged households, contributing to improving living conditions and ensuring social security in the area.
Mr. Dao Quang Ha, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Tien Lu Commune, said: “In the coming time, Tien Lu Commune will continue to focus on developing the potential and advantages of the locality, promoting economic restructuring, developing agriculture towards commodity production, applying science and technology and digital transformation. At the same time, we will mobilize resources to invest in infrastructure construction, improve the quality of advanced new rural criteria, and improve the material and spiritual lives of the people.”
With strong political determination and the consensus of the people, Tien Lu is gradually overcoming difficulties, unleashing its internal strengths, and creating new momentum for development. The achievements in 2025 are an important foundation for the locality to continue to make breakthroughs, aiming for sustainable development in the coming years.
