In early 1965, the combat mission of the Air Defense - Air Force Service became increasingly urgent, the entire Air Defense - Air Force Service changed its state from peacetime to wartime. Keeping up with the development trends of modern journalism

Faced with the explosion of information technology, the tasks of the Army press in general and the PK-KQ Newspaper in particular have increasingly high requirements. The PK-KQ Newspaper continues to promote the fine traditional nature of the Vietnamese revolutionary press; proactively and actively innovate, improve the quality of information and propaganda. The PK-KQ Newspaper has focused on investing and purchasing equipment and means of operation to equip cadres and reporters to meet the requirements of the assigned tasks. Currently, in response to the requirement of building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite, and modern Air Defense - Air Force Service, the staff, reporters, and editors of the Air Defense - Air Force Newspaper always strive to cultivate political qualities, actively study and practice, improve political awareness, ethics, lifestyle, and professional capacity; promote the qualities and fine traditions of Uncle Ho's soldiers, "Excellent Air Defense - Air Force Soldiers", build a close-knit relationship, helping each other to successfully complete all assigned tasks.

With its achievements, PK-KQ Newspaper was awarded the Third Class Military Exploit Medal, First Class Military Exploit Medal by the State, and two reporters of the editorial office were awarded the Third Class Military Exploit Medal.
