On this occasion, activities to celebrate the nation's important holiday took place enthusiastically.

Amidst the colorful flags and flowers, and the enthusiastic cheers, cadres and youth union members organized fun activities and games, such as tug of war, sack race, soccer, volleyball...

Student Nguyen Van Huynh, a member of the 24th Company Union, Battalion 8 Youth Union, shared: "Although every Monday, we salute the flag and sing the National Anthem, today, the feeling is very special, touching, and choked up on Independence Day. I am extremely proud to be Vietnamese, a soldier in the Vietnam People's Army, and a soldier of Uncle Ho."

That belief, pride and honor are being carried forward by the young generation of Army Officer School 1 today into the glorious history of the nation, the Army and the School with proud achievements. That is the result of studying, training, and high achievements in competitions and sports competitions for the whole army and the whole country. That is the responsibility and duty of today's youth before the Fatherland and our ancestors.
