Limit the impact on people when repairing urban roads and sidewalks

The Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee requested that the construction, renovation and repair of urban roads and sidewalks must limit impacts on people's lives.

Contractors are focusing on human resources and machinery to speed up the renovation of Le Loi street area.

The Chairman of the Hai Phong City People's Committee has requested relevant units to urgently speed up the progress of pavement and road renovation and upgrading packages in the area, ensuring completion before December 20, 2025.

Accordingly, the Department of Construction and the Management Board of Investment Projects for Construction of Traffic and Agricultural Works in Hai Phong urge contractors to organize concentrated construction, limiting impacts on people's lives, traffic safety and urban beauty. Construction of packages that do not ensure progress as required will be temporarily suspended and will only continue after March 3, 2026.

The Chairman of the City People's Committee also assigned the Department of Construction to coordinate with the West Hai Phong Construction Investment Management Board to review the need to renovate and repair sidewalks and roads in urban clusters in the West of the city ( Hai Duong city area, Chi Linh and the old Kinh Mon town), synthesize and report to the City People's Committee for consideration.

The project to renovate and expand sidewalks and roads on many inner-city routes is being implemented, including: Nguyen Binh Khiem (section from Van Cao Street to Kieu Son Pumping Station, about 0.83 km long); Le Loi (starting point at the intersection with Cau Dat Street, ending point at May To Intersection, about 1.36 km long) and renovating 16 inner-city routes with a total length of 11.18 km...
