3.8 billion VND invested in repairing and installing additional traffic safety systems on provincial roads

BAC NINH - Faced with the current situation of some provincial roads with degraded and damaged traffic safety systems, after inspection and review, the Department of Construction of Bac Ninh province has just allocated 3.8 billion VND from the state budget to start a project to repair and install additional traffic safety systems.

Accordingly, at this time, the Provincial Traffic Control and Monitoring Center (Department of Construction) is assigned as the investor and is focusing on speeding up the construction progress of the project items.

Intersection of Provincial Road 280 with Kenh Bac Road.

Specifically, the unit installed automatic traffic light control systems at the following intersections: Provincial Road 280 intersecting with Kenh Bac Road, Gia Binh Commune, installed 9 light poles; Provincial Road 283 intersecting with inner-city roads, Thuan Thanh Ward, installed 8 light poles; Provincial Road 286 intersecting with Nguyen Nghieu Ta Road, Yen Phong Commune, installed 6 light poles; Intersection of old National Highway 38 with Bach Mon - Lac Ve inter-commune road, Tan Chi Commune, installed 6 light poles. The light poles are made of galvanized steel, each pole has 2 sets of LED signal lights: Red - yellow - green.

The Provincial Traffic Control and Monitoring Center also repairs and supplements road signs; paints traffic signals with reflective thermoplastic paint; installs reflective studs at lane dividers and center lines of roads on intersections and repairs the above lighting system, and repairs traffic signals in the province.

According to the representative of the provincial Traffic Control and Monitoring Center, the unit is currently accelerating the construction progress, expected to complete the entire project by the end of December this year. Thereby helping to improve the efficiency of traffic organization, ensure safety, reduce the risk of congestion, and at the same time contribute to building a synchronous and modern traffic infrastructure system, meeting the requirements of urban development.
