According to Mr. Huynh Tan Tinh, Chairman of the Provincial Red Cross Society, the Provincial Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation and the Provincial General Hospital recently coordinated a voluntary blood donation drive in Tay Hoa district.

Accordingly, hundreds of officials, civil servants, employees, union members, youth, students, and residents in the area participated in blood donation. As a result, the Provincial General Hospital received 191 units of blood. The blood received in this donation drive will be used for emergency storage and treatment of patients during the summer.

In the coming period, the Provincial Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation will launch a voluntary blood donation campaign with the message "Donate blood to save lives - Please donate regularly"; "Donate a drop of blood - Give the gift of life," thereby raising awareness and encouraging officials, civil servants, and employees to participate in regular blood donation to meet the needs for emergency and medical treatment.

* The Provincial Labor Union also recently organized a voluntary blood donation drive for 2025 at the Multi-Purpose Gymnasium - Provincial Labor Culture House. Hundreds of officials, civil servants, employees, union members, and young people participated in the blood donation. As a result, the Provincial General Hospital received 187 units of blood. This blood donation will be used for emergency storage and treatment of patients during the summer.

Voluntary blood donation is a small act, but for patients and the community, it is a deeply meaningful humanitarian act. In the coming time, the Provincial Labor Union will actively coordinate with units, associations, and organizations to promote the dissemination of information and encourage officials, civil servants, employees, students, volunteers, and people in the province to continue participating in voluntary blood donation, meeting the blood needs for storage, emergency care, and treatment for the people.
