Receiving donations for people affected by Typhoon No. 5.

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - On the afternoon of August 29th, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front received donations from several organizations, businesses, and individuals to support people affected by Typhoon No. 5.

Nguyen Thi Phuong, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, delivered a speech at the donation reception ceremony.

To share in the losses and damages suffered by the people of Thanh Hoa province affected by Typhoon No. 5, the Vietnam Oil Corporation (PVOIL), Vietnam National Energy and Industry Group, donated 1 billion VND; the Thanh Hoa Business Association in Hanoi donated 100 million VND; the "Journey of Connecting Love - Spreading Compassion" program donated 10,000 notebooks to support students in flood-affected and border areas on their first day of school; and the Negav Rapper Fan community donated 80 million VND.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Oil Corporation delivered a speech at the handover ceremony.

Representatives from various organizations and businesses expressed their hope that these gifts would soon reach the people affected by Typhoon No. 5, helping them overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Thi Phuong thanked organizations and individuals for their joint efforts in supporting people affected by storms and floods.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, the leader of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Fatherland Front Committee expressed gratitude to the organizations, businesses, and philanthropists who have shown concern, shared, and joined hands with the province to support the people affected by the storm and floods; at the same time, he provided a general overview of the damage caused by Typhoon No. 5 to localities in the province.

With the support of organizations, businesses, and philanthropists, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee is committed to strictly managing and using the funds for their intended purpose; promptly assisting people affected by Typhoon No. 5 in appropriate, practical, and effective ways.
