Tim Cook praises Hanoi's egg coffee.

Upon arriving in Vietnam, Apple CEO Tim Cook posted photos of himself meeting with singers My Linh and My Anh. He also shared that he really enjoyed egg coffee.

"Hello, Vietnam! Thank you to the talented artists My Linh and My Anh for the warm welcome. I really enjoyed the egg coffee!", he wrote on X.

Within an hour of being posted, the content attracted over 400 comments and 5,000 likes.

According to Apple's press release, CEO Tim Cook will be in Vietnam for two days. He will meet with numerous content creators and developers, and participate in some education- related activities. Speaking after arriving in Vietnam, CEO Tim Cook said that Vietnam is a vibrant and beautiful country.

He also affirmed Apple's long-term commitment to Vietnam through increased support for local suppliers, investment in education, and environmental protection initiatives.

Since 2019, Apple has spent nearly 400 trillion VND through its local supply chains. This figure is more than double the annual spending on Vietnam during the same period. Apple has also created over 200,000 direct and indirect jobs.

Apple announced it is expanding its training and skills development programs for employees, including a Vocational Training Program for People with Disabilities and a $50 million Supplier Employee Development Fund. In particular, more than 38,000 people in Vietnam have participated in Apple's supplier employee health education program.

In terms of education, the iPhone manufacturer supports students and teachers nationwide in accessing education through resources in Vietnamese. Last year, the company launched an online Apple Store in Vietnam.

Previously, in November 2023, Tim Cook stated that Apple had set a record for quarterly revenue in the Vietnamese market. According to the CEO, the company's revenue surged, particularly due to the launch of an online store in Vietnam and its upgrade to a Tier 2 market.

During a meeting with the Vietnamese head of state, Apple's CEO affirmed that Vietnam is a country included in Apple's special business strategy. The company already has several products manufactured in Vietnam, such as Macbooks, iPads, and Apple Watches, employing thousands of workers.
