Around 5 PM every day, a large number of children in matching sportswear gather at the Picenza artificial turf football field in Chieng An ward to practice football. From dribbling, passing, and shooting to teamwork and competitive matches, the coaches provide systematic instruction, creating a lively atmosphere on the training field.
Having been with the club for over 7 years, 14-year-old Hoang Duy Khanh from To Hieu ward shared: "I've loved football since I was little and joined the club as a forward. Here, I receive technical guidance from the coaches, participate in matches, and socialize with many friends who share the same passion. I'm very happy because I get to improve my health and make many new friends. I hope to become a professional player in the future."

Established in 2015, the Bờm 26 Football Club originated as a football group under the Provincial Youth Activities Center. Currently, the club has two members in charge of management and coaching. Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hau, the club's chairman, said: "The establishment of the club provides students with a positive environment for activities after school, keeping them away from electronic devices and fostering a habit of regular sports training. Through football, many children have become more confident, learned to cooperate with teammates, and gained more motivation to pursue their passion for sports."
Currently, the Bờm 26 Football Club maintains over 120 students aged 5 to 15, with 3 experienced coaches directly instructing them at the Picenza football field in Chiềng An ward; and the X Zone and An Bình Bank football fields in Tô Hiệu ward. Classes are divided into age groups: 5-6 years old, 7-9 years old, and 10-15 years old, including female students. Each week, the children participate in 2-3 training sessions outside of school hours to improve their physical fitness, football skills, team spirit, and discipline.

During the summer, the club expands its activities, organizing tournaments such as: the Son La Province Summer Football Tournament for Clubs, the Northern Region Youth Football Tournament, and the internal tournament of Bom 26 Club. This is an opportunity for the children to interact, learn, hone their competitive skills, teamwork spirit, and self-confidence when participating in group activities.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Chien, Head Coach of Bom 26 Club, said: "The club aims to build a systematic and safe training environment for children to develop their passion and talent for football. Besides regular training sessions, the club also frequently organizes exchanges and matches with youth teams inside and outside the province, giving students more opportunities to gain practical experience. To date, the club has had 4 students recruited into professional youth football training centers such as Thep Xanh Nam Dinh FC and Bac Ninh FC."

Mr. Doan Manh Linh from Mai Son commune, whose son is training at the Bom 26 Football Club, commented: "Seeing my son's passion for football, I registered him to join the club. The training environment at the club helps him improve his health, discipline, and communication skills. Since joining the club, he has become more confident, more conscious in his daily life, and more active in his interactions."
Through training sessions on the field, many young children have developed a habit of exercising, improving their discipline and teamwork spirit. The Bờm 26 Football Club is gradually becoming a place that connects students who share a love for football, contributing to a healthy and beneficial after-school environment, especially during the summer. At the same time, it nurtures potential young players and promotes the development of sports in the local area.
