On December 17, social networks shared a clip of a traffic accident that occurred on To Ky Street, District 12, Ho Chi Minh City.

According to the clip, two women were walking hand in hand across the street at a crosswalk. While crossing, one woman was hit by a motorbike carrying pork, driven by a man.

The strong impact threw the victim more than 2 meters away, lying motionless on the road.

Instead of stopping the vehicle after the accident, the man drove away from the scene.

Through verification, the incident occurred on To Ky Street, opposite Quang Trung Software Park, in Trung My Tay Ward, District 12. The injured victim was named L. (50 years old), a bus attendant on route 55 (Quang Trung Software Park - New Eastern Bus Station) operated by Saigon Bus Joint Stock Company (SaigonBus).

Confirming with VietNamNet reporter , SaigonBus leader said the incident happened yesterday afternoon (November 16). While Ms. L. and a female intern were buying lunch, the incident happened.

“Ms. L. suffered multiple injuries and is currently being treated at Hospital 175. The company and her family have reported the incident to the local police for handling and searching for the motorcyclist who caused the traffic collision and fled the scene,” the representative informed.
