Mr. Luong Van Bay, Chairman of the People's Committee of My Ly commune, said that thanks to the involvement of Party committees, authorities, and the community, the consequences of the floods are gradually being overcome, helping to recover and return many people's belongings. These include 21 safes, 116 motorbikes, and assistance to 216 households to clean up and temporarily stabilize their living situation.

The Party committee and local government also directed efforts to improve public awareness and maintain ideological stability among the people. Currently, five villages can only be reached by boat and on foot.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of My Ly commune also added that, as of August 15th, the forces and the community had helped transport essential goods to the affected people, including more than 1,400 boxes of instant noodles, 2,100 kg of rice, and other necessities such as fish sauce, salt, and drinking water.

The Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of My Ly commune provided initial support to 221 families affected by the floods, with each family receiving a gift worth 500,000 VND.

The People's Committee of My Ly commune has received aid from 159 charitable organizations and individuals nationwide, totaling approximately 6.5 billion VND in gifts and 13.1 billion VND in cash. Of this amount, 7.57 billion VND was received through bank accounts, and over 5.6 billion VND was received in cash from organizations, individuals, businesses, and philanthropists.

The forces also promptly distributed supplies to affected households; however, they still faced many difficulties in delivering essential goods to some villages such as Cha Nga and Xop Duong.

Currently, the weather remains unpredictable, posing a major obstacle to efforts to help people overcome the consequences of the disaster and stabilize their lives.
