The body of a young girl swept away by floodwaters in Da Lat has been found.

On the afternoon of May 27th, Mr. Bui The, Chairman of the People's Committee of Lang Biang Ward, Da Lat City, Lam Dong Province, announced that authorities had found the body of a young girl who had been swept away by floodwaters in the area.

According to initial information, at approximately 1 PM on the same day, authorities found the body of 13-year-old PTN in Dan Kia Lake, Lang Biang Ward, Da Lat, more than 3km from the scene of the incident.

Rescue teams are searching for the child on Dan Kia Lake, Lang Biang Ward, Da Lat.

As reported by SGGP newspaper, at approximately 1:30 PM on May 24th, a child was swept away by rising stream water in Bon Nor B residential area, Lang Biang ward, Da Lat.

Immediately after receiving the report, local authorities mobilized hundreds of people to participate in the search and rescue operation. However, in the following days, continuous rain and complex terrain made the search operation very difficult.

At one point, authorities used water pumps to drain water from several areas where the child was suspected of being trapped.

Hundreds of people have participated in the search for the child over the past three days.

The People's Committee of Lang Biang Ward, Da Lat City, is currently processing procedures to assist the family in arranging the funeral for the child.
