Domestic coffee prices on August 1, 2025 increased by 300 VND/kg across the Central Highlands provinces. With this increase, prices have reached 100,000 VND/kg in Dak Lak and Dak Nong. This is a sign that the upward momentum is still strong.

Although Robusta coffee on the London floor has mixed developments, Arabica coffee on the New York floor has increased in price. The increase in Arabica prices often tends to pull Robusta prices and domestic coffee prices up as well.

The news that the US may impose a 50% tariff on Brazilian coffee could create supply concerns, boosting coffee prices in the short term. This could also have a positive impact on Vietnamese coffee prices.

With today's strong increase and positive impacts from the international market, it is highly likely that domestic coffee prices tomorrow, August 2, 2025, will continue to increase, possibly maintaining a slight increase or stabilizing at a high level.

World Coffee Price Forecast August 2, 2025

Robusta coffee prices on the London exchange may continue to move in opposite directions. Near-term futures may face correction pressure after a recent sharp increase, while longer-term futures may continue to rise on expectations of future supply.

Arabica coffee prices on the New York Stock Exchange may continue to rise. News of US tariffs on Brazilian coffee will be the main factor supporting Arabica prices. However, the increase may not be too strong as traders are still monitoring the situation and hoping for a decision to exempt the tariffs.

General future trends

Domestic coffee prices tomorrow, August 2, 2025, are likely to continue to increase, or at least remain at a high level. World coffee prices will have more complicated developments, with Robusta possibly moving sideways or slightly adjusting in the near term, while Arabica is likely to continue to increase in price.

All of these developments depend on new information about US tariffs on Brazilian coffee and other supply and demand factors in the global market.
