According to The Verge , Microsoft has just announced a series of new updates for Windows 11, focusing on deeper integration of artificial intelligence (AI) to improve performance and personalize the experience.
One of the highlights is Copilot Vision, a tool that uses AI to scan and understand the entire content displayed on a user's screen. The tool is available in the Copilot app and is gradually being released to all Windows 11 users.
With Copilot Vision, users can ask questions directly by voice about what they are seeing on the screen, even when they have multiple applications or browsers open at the same time.
AI can also analyze content and provide contextual feedback, from explaining the content to guiding you through specific tasks, such as adjusting the lighting for a photo.
Along with that, Microsoft also added many exclusive features to the Copilot Plus PCs line using Snapdragon chips.
One of them is the smart assistant built into the Settings app, which allows users to search and change system settings using natural language.
For example, just type or say "I want to turn on silent mode" or "Connect a Bluetooth device." If it can be done, the AI assistant will automatically complete the request.
Additionally, Microsoft is making a big improvement to the “Click to Do” feature. Specifically, when you hold down the Windows key and left-click on any application, text, or content, this tool will suggest quick actions that can be performed, such as summarizing the text.

The new update expands the range of uses for this feature, from reading and pronunciation support with Reading Coach (a fluency app), to editing text in Word with Copilot, or even scheduling meetings on Microsoft Teams.
Notably, a host of other AI features are also designed specifically for Copilot Plus PCs.
The Paint app will get an AI-powered sticker creation tool and a smart object selection feature, allowing users to easily separate and edit individual parts of an image.
The Photos app also gets an AI lighting option, which improves image lighting with just one click,...
All of the above features will be rolled out gradually by Microsoft over the next month, some are already available in the non-security preview update and can also be downloaded through the Microsoft Store.
