Lam Dong Provincial Youth Union holds political activity titled "Stories from the Time of Fire and Flowers".

On the morning of April 10th, at the Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee Base historical site in Dong Giang commune (Lam Dong province), the Lam Dong Provincial Youth Union organized a political activity program titled "Stories from the Time of Fire and Flowers," commemorating the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2026).

The program about the origins, "Stories from the Time of Fire and Flowers," aired on the morning of April 10th.

Here, more than 200 youth union members and participants laid flowers and offered incense at the Traditional House and memorial monument. The highlight of the program was the interaction and meeting with historical witnesses, rekindling the flame of tradition.

These heroic "Stories from the time of war" are vividly recounted by veterans, former officials of the Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee Office, and former liaison officers of the Zone VI Party Committee during the resistance against the US.

Ms. Tran Diep My Dung, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Lam Dong Provincial Youth Union, said: "The political activity program 'Stories from the Time of Fire and Flowers' is a bridge connecting the past with the present, a response from today's youth to their predecessors."

As part of the program, the Lam Dong Provincial Youth Union organized a ceremony to admit outstanding young members into the Youth Union, and presented 20 gifts and scholarships under the "Supporting Students to School" program to disadvantaged students in Dong Giang commune.

Scholarships were awarded to underprivileged students in Dong Giang commune.

This is one of the important activities included in the project of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union to participate in preserving and disseminating historical stories.
