TKV supports overcoming damage caused by natural disasters in Lang Son and Lao Cai provinces

(Chinhphu.vn) - On the morning of October 10, at the Fatherland Front Committee of Lang Son province, Deputy General Director of Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group Nguyen Tien Manh presented 2 billion VND in support to Lang Son province to help overcome damage caused by natural disasters in the area.

The received amount will be promptly allocated by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lang Son province to localities for timely support, contributing to helping people overcome difficulties soon.

Mr. Nguyen Hoang Tung, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lang Son province, received support from TKV for people affected by storms No. 10 and No. 11 in the province, and quickly informed about the damage caused by natural disasters in the province.

Thanking TKV for its timely sharing and support for the people in Lang Son, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Tung said that the amount received will be promptly allocated by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lang Son province to localities for timely support, contributing to helping people overcome difficulties, overcome damage, and gradually stabilize their lives.

On the same day, in Lao Cai province, a working delegation of TKV led by Mr. Tran Hai Binh, Deputy General Director of the Group, visited, encouraged and presented 2 billion VND in support to the Fatherland Front Committee of Lao Cai province to share and support the locality in overcoming the heavy damage caused by storms No. 10 and No. 11 in Lao Cai province recently.

TKV's timely and meaningful activities demonstrate its social responsibility, contributing to further strengthening the close relationship between TKV and Lao Cai province in accompanying development.

At the meeting, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Nhiem, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairwoman in charge of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Lao Cai Provincial Relief Mobilization Committee, informed about the damage caused by storms in the locality. Accordingly, as of the morning of October 10, storms have caused 21 casualties, nearly 12,000 houses and many properties and crops of people and businesses in the province.

On behalf of the provincial leaders and people of Lao Cai, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Nhiem expressed her deep gratitude for the sentiments, attention and timely and practical support of TKV. The timely and meaningful activities of TKV not only demonstrate a high sense of social responsibility but also contribute to strengthening the close relationship between TKV and Lao Cai province in accompanying development.
