STO - On the morning of July 21st, Soc Trang Provincial General Hospital organized a seminar on "Botulinum Toxin Injection in Neurological Diseases". Attending the seminar were Dr. Thach Khuon, Specialist I - Deputy Director of Soc Trang Provincial General Hospital; doctors from Soc Trang Provincial General Hospital; and several doctors from provincial hospitals and district health centers.

At the seminar, Dr. Tran Ngoc Tai, Deputy Head of the Department of Neurology, University Medical Center of Ho Chi Minh City, shared and provided new knowledge on several general topics in neurological diseases, including their causes, symptoms, and treatment methods, and introduced Botulinum Toxin injections in neurological diseases.
Also at the workshop, Dr. Tran Ngoc Tai exchanged ideas, discussed, and answered doctors' questions about issues in the process of implementing Botulinum Toxin injection techniques for patients. He also directly guided practical training on Botulinum Toxin injection techniques in neurological diseases at the Department of Neurology - Stroke, Soc Trang Provincial General Hospital.
The workshop will provide doctors with an opportunity to learn and exchange ideas with experienced doctors from higher-level hospitals, thereby helping patients with neurological conditions such as blepharospasm, hemifacial spasm, and post-stroke muscle rigidity receive treatment locally.
