Organizing to collect voters' opinions on the establishment of wards and An Duong district
(Haiphong.gov.vn) – The People's Committee of An Duong district has just issued a Plan to collect voters' opinions and submit to the District People's Council meeting on the content of the Project to arrange commune-level administrative units, establish wards, establish An Duong district and adjust administrative boundaries between An Duong district and Hong Bang district.

Accordingly, An Duong district consulted voters on the establishment of 6 wards: An Dong, An Hoa, Dong Thai, Hong Thai, Hong Phong, Le Thien on the basis of the original natural area and population size of the 6 communes mentioned above; establishing Le Loi ward on the basis of merging the original natural area and population size of An Duong town and Le Loi commune; establishing An Hai ward on the basis of merging the original natural area and population size of Dang Cuong commune and Quoc Tuan commune; consulting on the name of the ward after establishment.
An Duong district also consulted voters on adjusting area 1 of Bac Son commune (area 1.395 km 2 , north of National Highway 10) to Tan Tien commune, establishing Tan Tien ward; adjusting area 2 of Bac Son commune (area 3.27 km 2 , south of National Highway 10) to Nam Son commune, establishing Nam Son ward; adjusting the natural area and population size of 3 communes: An Hong, An Hung, Dai Ban to Hong Bang district and establishing a ward in Hong Bang district; establishing An Duong district on the basis of the natural area and population size of 10 wards: An Dong, An Hoa, Dong Thai, Hong Thai, Hong Phong, Le Thien, Le Loi, An Hai, Tan Tien and Nam Son.
The list of voters for voting includes citizens aged 18 years or older as of the voting date, who have registered permanent or temporary residence in communes and towns of the district; posted at the headquarters of the People's Committees of communes and towns, and the Cultural Houses of villages, residential groups, and locations where voters' opinions are collected. Voters' opinions are collected by village and residential group. Voter opinion ballots are distributed to households. Voters' opinions are collected from March 30 to 31, 2024.
