Successfully organized the preparatory session of the 1st Congress of Party Delegates of the Ministry of Education and Training

GD&TĐ - On the morning of August 21, in Hanoi, the preparatory session of the 1st Congress of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Education and Training, term 2025 - 2030, took place successfully.

Attending the Congress, on behalf of the Government Party Committee, there were Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nam, Deputy Head of the Inspection Committee; comrades in Steering Group No. 4 of the Government Party Committee.

The Party Committee of the Ministry of Education and Training included Mr. Nguyen Kim Son, Secretary of the Party Committee, Minister; Mr. Pham Ngoc Thuong, Permanent Deputy Secretary, Permanent Deputy Minister; Mr. Nguyen Viet Loc, Deputy Secretary; Mr. Hoang Minh Son, Head of the Party Committee's Organization Committee, Deputy Minister; Mr. Le Tan Dung, Member of the Standing Committee, Deputy Minister. Also attending were members of the Party Committee Executive Committee of the Ministry for the 2020-2025 term and 164 outstanding delegates, representing more than 1,500 party members of 30 party committees and branches under the Party Committee of the Ministry of Education and Training.

At the preparatory session, the Congress elected the Presidium, the Secretariat, the Delegate Qualification Examination Board; and approved the Congress's Program and Working Regulations.

On behalf of the Party Committee Standing Committee, Deputy Minister Le Tan Dung presented a report summarizing comments on the Draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party; a report summarizing comments on the Draft Political Report to be submitted to the 1st Government Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

In his concluding remarks, Minister Nguyen Kim Son assessed: After a period of urgent, serious, democratic and responsible work, the preparatory session of the 1st Congress of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Education and Training, term 2025-2030, has completed the set contents.

Careful preparation of the contents is an important premise for the official Congress session to take place successfully, in accordance with regulations, promoting democracy, intelligence and responsibility of delegates attending the Congress.

On behalf of the Presidium, the Minister commended the sense of responsibility of the delegates and the proactiveness and thoughtfulness of the Subcommittees serving the Congress.

Standing Committee member, Deputy Minister Le Tan Dung presented a report summarizing comments on the Draft documents submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party.

In order for the official session of the Congress to take place on time, with the approved program, the Minister requested that delegates be present on time, strictly follow the rules and regulations set forth. The departments serving the Congress assigned staff in charge of overseeing the work to ensure the highest quality, promoting the spirit of responsibility, democracy, solidarity, contributing constructive opinions to the Congress documents, ensuring the success of the Congress in the official session.

In his speech, the Minister also informed that the Politburo has issued a new draft of the Political Report of the Central Executive Committee, to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress. At the same time, in the next few days, the Politburo will issue a Resolution on breakthroughs in education and training development.

The Minister suggested that delegates and party members study the new draft document to continue to provide comments and suggestions, and at the same time study the Resolution of the Politburo; to unify the spirit of breakthrough and innovation of the Politburo in the new Resolution and the spirit of the 14th Party Congress Document.

Conducted with the motto "Discipline - Creativity - Breakthrough - Development", the 1st Congress of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Education and Training, term 2025 - 2030 took place in the context of the country having a foundation, potential, position and international prestige thanks to the crystallization of thousands of years of national culture, especially the achievements of 95 years under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, 80 years of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, 40 years of innovation and the great contributions and sacrifices of many generations of party members and the masses.

This is also the time when the country enters a new era of development - the era of the Vietnamese people's rise; facing a historical opportunity for breakthrough development, successfully achieving two goals: 100 years under the leadership of the Party, 100 years of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

The national education system plays a pivotal role in building a new generation of Vietnamese people with enough courage, intelligence, and health to build an independent, self-reliant, and deeply integrated economy based on the main driving force of science, technology, innovation, digital transformation, developing high-quality human resources, and effectively exploiting the advantages of deep international integration.
