People's Courts at both levels compete to clean up marriage data.

Officials, civil servants, and employees of the People's Court of Region 3 are focusing on coding case files related to marriage matters.

The 90-day intensive campaign to clean up marriage data and streamline procedures for confirming marital status was launched by the Ministry of Justice , the Ministry of Public Security, and the Supreme People's Court on May 31st. This campaign aims to accurately, promptly, and synchronously update information on marriage, divorce, and single status on the national information system and display it publicly and transparently on the VNeID application. Citizens will no longer have to spend time and travel multiple times to obtain certificates of marital status for administrative procedures and civil transactions.

Recognizing the significance and importance of the intensive campaign, immediately after being restructured and operating under the new organizational model with a significantly increased workload, the People's Court of Region 1 focused its leadership and direction on organizing the implementation of data encryption for legally effective judgments and decisions on marriage matters according to the prescribed fiscal year. Accordingly, the court established a task force to implement a 90-day intensive campaign to clean up marriage data and streamline procedures for confirming marital status, led by the unit's leadership and involving all officials, civil servants, and employees. Simultaneously, specific tasks were assigned, clearly defining roles, responsibilities, and timelines, with the results of the intensive campaign serving as the basis for evaluating and ranking officials and civil servants at the end of the year.

Judge Ho Thi Minh Hanh, Deputy Chief Justice of the People's Court of Region 1, stated: "Identifying the 90-day intensive campaign to clean up marriage data and streamline procedures for confirming marital status as a major policy of the Party and State, aimed at further improving the quality of service to the people, the unit has meticulously prepared the necessary infrastructure, equipment, and human resources for implementation. Adhering closely to the guided procedures and processes, the unit's officials, civil servants, and employees have diligently worked overtime on Saturdays, Sundays, and evenings, determined to complete the intensive campaign ahead of schedule."

Through a review, the number of legally effective judgments and decisions on marriage from 2010 to May 31, 2025, issued by the People's Court of Thanh Hoa City and the People's Court of Dong Son District (formerly) that need to be synchronized and cleaned up is over 9,300 files, the highest number in the province's court system. Meanwhile, the data update process has sometimes experienced unstable internet connections and slow data encryption, affecting the progress of the task. Faced with this situation, the People's Court of Region 1 has had to mobilize additional staff to participate in manual data entry outside of trial and case resolution hours.

The procedures for encrypting and cleaning marriage data are strictly followed according to regulations. The leadership of the People's Court of Region 1 also held weekly meetings to monitor the situation, promptly resolve obstacles and difficulties, and encourage and motivate officials, civil servants, and employees to strive to successfully complete their assigned tasks.

With a systematic and scientific approach and a high level of determination, by July 31st, the People's Court of Region 1 had completed the digitization of all case files. Of these, 6,070 files have been digitized, with the remaining files awaiting approval. This is also the unit with the highest number of digitized files in the provincial court system.

Similarly, the working atmosphere at the People's Court of Region 3 (Trieu Son commune) has been quite urgent and serious in recent days. To effectively implement this peak period, the unit has arranged a working room with full equipment to serve the task force. In addition to mobilizing the maximum number of officials, civil servants, and workers to carry out the peak period, the unit has encouraged student interns to participate in some related tasks, such as classifying files by time and photocopying files for initial data entry... At the same time, a group was established via the social media platform Zalo to regularly exchange work and promptly resolve arising problems. With high spirit and responsibility, as of July 31st, the People's Court of Region 3 has successfully coded 4,270 legally effective judgments and decisions on marriage issued by the People's Court of Trieu Son district and the People's Court of Thieu Hoa district (formerly). The unit will strive to complete all tasks of this peak period by early August 2025.

Following the directives of the Supreme People's Court and the Provincial People's Committee, immediately after completing the reorganization of the regional court system, the Provincial People's Court launched a 90-day intensive campaign to clean up marriage data and streamline procedures for confirming marital status with urgency, seriousness, and effectiveness. The aim is to digitize all data on over 52,000 legally effective judgments and decisions of the two-level courts in the province from 2010 to May 31, 2025, to facilitate the quick resolution of administrative procedures for citizens.

According to Judge Ngo Thi Ha, Deputy Chief Justice of the Provincial People's Court, to effectively implement this campaign, the leadership of the Provincial People's Court organized training on the use of software, standardized the process of digitizing files, and synchronized marriage data for officials and employees of the two-level court system. At the same time, they required regional courts and subordinate courts and departments to report on the progress of their work daily to promptly identify and resolve any difficulties. They also proactively coordinated with relevant agencies to process, verify, and supplement file information when necessary...

With high determination, by July 31st, the two-level courts in the province had completed the data entry of 50,079 marriage case files. Of these, 36,028 legally effective judgments and decisions have been fully coded. It is expected that the court system will complete this peak period by early August 2025. In the context of simultaneously streamlining the organizational structure with a very large workload, this result exceeds expectations, affirming the high determination of the two-level courts in the province to serve the people.
