The Government issued Decree No. 216/2025/ND-CP dated August 5, 2025 detailing a number of articles and guiding the implementation of the Law on Inspection.

Decree No. 216/2025/ND-CP consists of 12 chapters and 80 articles, detailing a number of articles of the Law on Inspection, including: Cryptographic Inspectorate, Inspectorate established under international treaties; inspector; online and remote inspection; re-inspection; Inspection team; request for appraisal; request for credit institutions to freeze accounts of inspected subjects; recovery of assets illegally appropriated, seized, used or lost due to illegal acts; settlement of complaints during inspection activities; recommendations on the content of inspection conclusions; recommendations and reflections on inspection activities and the settlement of recommendations and reflections; monitoring, urging and checking the implementation of inspection conclusions; regimes and allowances for inspectors.

Subjects of application: This Decree applies to state management agencies, heads of state management agencies; inspection agencies, heads of inspection agencies; heads of inspection teams, members of inspection teams; inspectors; inspected subjects; relevant agencies, organizations and individuals.

Decree No. 216/2025/ND-CP dated August 5, 2025 detailing a number of articles and guiding the implementation of the Law on Inspection takes effect from the date of promulgation.

Decree No. 43/2023/ND-CP detailing a number of articles and measures to implement the Law on Inspection; Decree No. 03/2024/ND-CP regulating the agency performing specialized inspection functions and the activities of the agency assigned to perform specialized inspection functions cease to be effective from the effective date of this Decree.
