News of the first Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato arriving in Vietnam has attracted considerable attention from car enthusiasts, even though the car bears Cambodian license plates, its owner is Vietnamese and lives in Ho Chi Minh City. Recently, car enthusiasts in Hue spotted this Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato at a gas station, revealing that its owner possesses an incredibly impressive collection of supercars, including a Porsche 918 Spyder and two other hypercars that have yet to be publicly revealed.
This is one of only 1,499 Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato supercars produced and sold globally, and currently the only one in Vietnam. The first Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato to arrive in Vietnam is striking with its military gray color. The paint scheme of this Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato in Vietnam is commonly seen on fighter jets, and was also a custom paint job for the limited-edition Avio model, with only 250 units produced. Besides this striking color, this Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato also features many black painted details.
Unlike its siblings, the Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato was created to conquer any terrain, including mountain passes. The name Sterrato means "mud" in Italian, and the car's design has been adapted for off-road purposes.
Specifically, the ground clearance has been raised by 47 mm, while the front end has been sharpened by 1% and the departure angle increased by 6.5%. The front end has been widened by 30 mm, while the rear end by 34 mm, all aimed at improving balance and stability during operation. Furthermore, the fender flares are attached with exposed bolts, giving this off-road supercar a more aggressive look. Moreover, the Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato is equipped with 19-inch alloy wheels and Bridgestone Dueler AT002 runflat tires specifically developed for the vehicle. The next modification to the Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato is the air intake on the engine cover. The purpose of this feature is to prevent dirt and rocks from entering the intake manifold and damaging the engine when the car is driven at high speeds on gravel roads. Even the rear diffuser has been redesigned to protect the engine oil pans, gearbox, and other components.
The heart of the Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato is a 5.2L naturally aspirated V10 gasoline engine, producing a maximum power of 610 horsepower and a maximum torque of 560 Nm. This engine is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. The car features a new, special Rally driving mode, designed for driving on slippery, low-traction terrain. Additionally, it offers two driving modes: Strada (street) and Sport . The car can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 260 km/h.
