In 2024, 190 enterprises with a total of 359 products were recognized as Vietnam National Brands. Thereby honoring high-quality, typical goods and products of the country.
The Vietnam National Brand Program is the only long-term, specific trade promotion program of the Government to build the image of Vietnam as a country with prestige in high-quality goods and services, increase the pride and attractiveness of the country and people of Vietnam, contribute to promoting foreign trade development and enhancing national competitiveness.
Participating in the Program is a process for businesses to comprehensively evaluate their activities, production/business results and brand building strategies through the Program's criteria system; thereby encouraging businesses to share and pursue the core values of the Program, which are Quality - Innovation, creativity - Pioneering capacity.
2024 is the 9th year the program has been implemented. Despite the complicated developments of the unstable geopolitical situation in the world that have negatively impacted many aspects of socio-economic life, production and business activities of enterprises, this year's national brand selection continues to attract the participation of over 1,000 enterprises in different industries and fields across the country.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade recognized 190 enterprises with a total of 359 products achieving Vietnam National Brand in 2024.
After more than 9 months of launching and implementing the selection activities, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Decision No. 2776/QD-BCT recognizing 190 enterprises with a total of 359 products achieving the Vietnam National Brand in 2024. Compared to 2022, this year the country has had 18 more enterprises with products achieving the Vietnam National Brand. This is a testament to the attraction and influence of the Program on enterprises in promoting the import and export of goods and services as well as developing the domestic market.
The 9th selection period in 2024 marked the first participation of large, prestigious brands not only domestically but also internationally. The presence of large domestic brands not only reflects the strong development of Vietnamese brands but also shows the increasing awareness of businesses about the importance of brands in many industries and fields. This marks a new step forward in the effort to affirm and enhance the value of national brands in the market.
The Ceremony to Announce Products that Achieve Vietnam National Brand in 2024 will be held at 7:30 p.m. on November 4, 2024 at the National Convention Center and broadcast live on Vietnam Television.
The selection of enterprises achieving National Brand has been conducted every two years since 2008 with the aim of encouraging enterprises to continue sharing and pursuing the values of the program, enhancing pride in Vietnamese products.
After more than 20 years of establishment and development, the Vietnam National Brand Program has achieved many remarkable achievements, attracting strong attention and building a solid reputation with businesses, management agencies and consumers both domestically and internationally. The program not only honors typical product brands and businesses representing the Vietnam National Brand, but also contributes to affirming Vietnam as a country with high-quality goods and services, with strong competitiveness in the international market.
