With this result, Ms. Sanae Takaichi became the first female leader of the LDP.
Ms Takaichi, 64, was once seen as the public's top choice with strong support from local party bases as she sought to become Japan's first female prime minister .
Ms. Sanae Takaichi is known to be a supporter of strong fiscal and monetary stimulus measures.
Observers say Ms. Takaichi has the strongest economic program with a commitment to double the size of Japan's economy in a decade with large state investments in new technology, infrastructure, food production, and economic security./.
