In recent years, despite many difficulties and challenges affecting the implementation of national defense tasks and economic activities of enterprises; however, the Party Committee, Board of Directors, Chairmen and General Directors of enterprises have thoroughly grasped and proactively overcome difficulties, and successfully completed assigned tasks.

In his speech, Major General Nguyen Trong Thien emphasized: The enterprises awarded the decision on this occasion affirm their special role in the task of building national defense potential, ensuring logistics and technology for the armed forces and participating in the country's economic development. Enterprises recognized as defense and security enterprises are not only a recognition of their special functions and tasks, but also a great political responsibility that each unit needs to continue to promote.

In the new situation, the requirement for the Logistics and Engineering Corps is to be ready, timely, accurate, economical and safe in all conditions and circumstances. The enterprises recognized on this occasion (and the enterprises that have been recognized) must become the core in ensuring technical, repairing, preserving, producing and supplying special equipment and materials; at the same time, be proactive and creative in performing the task of combining economy with national defense.

Major General Nguyen Trong Thien requested that enterprises strictly grasp the content of the Decision, ensure compliance with regulations on organization, operation, land and asset use, salary regime and financial disclosure for defense and security enterprises. Review and develop production and business plans closely linked to political tasks; have plans ready to mobilize when situations arise, meeting the requirements of ensuring national defense and security in all situations.

Actively coordinate with the functional agencies of the General Department and the Ministry of National Defense to ensure the effective use of capital and state assets under management. In particular, it is necessary to continuously improve the quality of human resources, invest in science and technology, and apply digital transformation in accordance with the specific operations of defense enterprises.
