On the morning of November 29, the Provincial People's Committee held a meeting to listen to the results of 11-month budget collection; tasks and solutions for December 2023.

By the end of November 2023, the total domestic revenue is estimated at VND 6,757 billion, reaching 66.4% of the Ministry of Finance's estimate, reaching 59.5% of the province's estimate, equal to 70.5% compared to the same period in 2022. Of which, revenue from taxes and fees is estimated at VND 4,508 billion, reaching 58.7% of the Ministry of Finance's and the province's estimate, equal to 70.9% compared to the same period in 2022; land use fee revenue is estimated at VND 2,249 billion, reaching 90% of the Ministry of Finance's estimate, reaching 61.3% of the province's estimate, equal to 69.6% compared to the same period in 2022. Of the total 15 revenue targets, 11 targets have so far been on schedule, expected to be completed and exceed the assigned estimate by December 31, 2023; There are 4 targets that have not been achieved on schedule and are unlikely to be completed.

Delegates spoke to clarify the difficulties and obstacles in budget collection, thereby proposing collection solutions to achieve the highest budget collection estimate.

In his concluding remarks, Comrade Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: The budget collection task in December 2023 is very large and very heavy while the determination, determination, and responsibility of departments, branches, localities, and units in budget collection work is not high. He requested that in December 2023, departments, branches, localities, and units must demonstrate their determination in implementing budget collection solutions; the Provincial Tax Department must focus on collecting enough taxes and fees assigned by the province, in which it is necessary to mobilize active participation throughout the sector, continue to review and assign specific responsibilities to each unit and individual; fully and drastically implement solutions to recover tax debts, especially for enterprises with large tax debts; closely coordinate with the police in the process of organizing tax and fee collection.

For districts and cities, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested close and drastic direction, considering December 2023 as the key and peak month to complete the budget collection task, thereby coordinating with the Tax Department to review and re-evaluate remaining tax amounts to have appropriate collection solutions; organize meetings and encourage businesses in the area with large tax payments.

He also requested that departments, branches, districts and cities, along with drastically implementing tasks and solutions in December 2023, must determine the next tasks of 2024, on that basis, have solutions to collect budget from the first days and months of 2024.
