ESSENTIAL NEEDS

Last year, Bac Lieu City issued 365 digital signatures to organizations and individuals, along with installing and providing instructions on the use of 255 digital signatures throughout the city. Simultaneously, it guided and supported 50,000 citizens in creating national public service accounts and making online payments for various fees and charges, as well as carrying out administrative procedures electronically. Notably, it launched a 60-day intensive campaign to receive and process administrative procedures through online public services and online payments throughout the city.

In addition, Bac Lieu City continues to maintain the model of markets, supermarkets, and shopping centers that limit the use of cash; guiding businesses and establishments to gradually apply information and communication technology to improve management efficiency and increase labor productivity. As a result, the city has built 12 Industry 4.0 routes and 10 cashless reception and results delivery departments in wards and communes, 2 Industry 4.0 residential areas and 2 cashless markets, and 1 smart supermarket at Vincom Bac Lieu Center.
