With proactive, active and synchronous implementation of solutions, from the beginning of 2024 up to now, the socio-economic development situation in Cam Pha city has had many positive changes. By the end of 2023, Cam Pha will have no more poor households, the rate of near-poor households has decreased sharply. The quality of life of the people has been increasingly improved; many key projects and works have been completed such as: Cam Pha High School; the road connecting Vung Duc Street, Cam Dong Ward to Cam Son Ward; the project to invest in technical infrastructure phase 2 of the coastal road connecting Ha Long - Cam Pha...; being the first locality to complete the elimination of temporary housing and newly-emerged dilapidated houses.
Mr. Pham Van Kinh, Vice Chairman of Cam Pha City People's Committee, said: In 2024, Cam Pha City sets a target of an average production value growth rate of 107.6% or more. Of which, Industry - Construction reaches 105.3%; Trade - Services reaches 118.5%; Agriculture - Forestry - Fisheries reaches 109.7%. To complete the set target, from now until the end of the year, the locality will focus on mobilizing all resources, diversifying investment forms, accelerating development and completing synchronous and modern infrastructure; improving the quality of administrative reform, strongly improving the investment and business environment, enhancing competitiveness and developing enterprises, especially the private economic sector and creative startups. Along with that, the city continues to synchronously implement solutions to promote the improvement of economic growth quality, promoting three strategic breakthroughs; Focus on removing difficulties and bottlenecks, unblocking resources and effectively resolving obstacles to develop the economy quickly and sustainably and achieve the set goals. At the same time, continue to promote the implementation of the roadmap to build Cam Pha City into a class I urban area associated with the provincial planning, aiming to build Cam Pha increasingly stronger and develop synchronously in all fields.
