Tan Binh District People's Committee has just issued a plan to implement the TOD project along metro line 2 (Ben Thanh - Tham Luong) according to Resolution No. 98/2023/QH15.
The land chosen by Tan Binh district as TOD is plot number 446-448 Hoang Van Thu street, 5.1 hectares wide, adjacent to Bay Hien station of metro line 2.
The most important thing is that the entire 5.1 hectares of land here is state-managed land for headquarters of agencies and organizations, so there is no need for site clearance, which is convenient for new construction.
Regarding the implementation plan in the second and third quarters of 2025, Tan Binh district will proceed to adjust the planning. After the planning adjustment project is approved, the investor will be selected at the end of 2025.

In District 10, this locality chose Area C30, Ward 14, District 10, an area of nearly 41 hectares , to conduct an auction for TOD development. This land is located more than 900 meters from Le Thi Rieng Park Station of Metro Line 2, so it is suitable for implementing the TOD model.
This area is also convenient for land clearance and recovery because the land is directly managed by the State.
According to the implementation plan of District 10 People's Committee, the land will be adjusted in the second and third quarters of 2025. Then, the investor will be selected in the third and fourth quarters of 2025. The decision to approve the project will be issued at the end of 2025.
Previously, Tan Phu District People's Committee selected land plot No. I/82 A, area of 26 hectares, in Tay Thanh ward, to implement the TOD area along metro line No. 2 (Ben Thanh - Tham Luong).
Currently, this area has a lot of vacant land and some areas are being leased as cinemas and warehouses, so it is easy to reclaim to clear the land.
So far, 3 locations for TOD models along metro line 2 (Ben Thanh - Tham Luong) have been identified and specific implementation plans have been drawn up.
If implemented as planned, metro line 2 is expected to be completed in 2030, it will bring great benefits to people living around urban areas near the metro line's stations.
