The Telegraph Travel Awards 2025, organized by the Telegraph newspaper (UK), has just announced the list of the best cities in the world in 2025.

This year, the awards attracted the participation of about 20,000 readers to vote for global travel destinations. The results were divided into two groups: the top 50 best cities in the world and the top cities by region (Europe, Americas and other regions).

In the list of 105 global cities, Hanoi ranked 31st (down 4 places compared to the 2023 voting results), Ho Chi Minh City dropped 1 place compared to 2023, holding position 77.

The Telegraph describes Hanoi as a dynamic city for those who love to explore cultural beauty, the fusion of tradition and modernity, especially the East-West architectural works.

Ho Chi Minh City is a vibrant destination with the noise of motorbikes, ancient architecture, sparkling skyscrapers, and modern shopping centers.

According to this list, Asia has 3 cities in the top 10, of which two representatives are from Japan, Tokyo and Kyoto, the third destination is Singapore.

In Southeast Asia, the names appearing on the list are Chiang Mai (Thailand) 18th, Bangkok (Thailand) 40th, Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) 68th, Phnom Penh (Cambodia) 83rd.
