Ho Chi Minh City leads with an average test score of 6.73. Binh Duong has an average score of 6.65. Da Nang ranks 5th with an average test score of 6.11.

Statistics show that Ho Chi Minh City's average foreign language score this year decreased slightly compared to last year, but still leads the nation. Thus, for almost the past 10 years, Ho Chi Minh City has consistently ranked first in foreign language exam scores in the high school graduation exam.
In terms of perfect scores (10 out of 10), Hanoi leads with 172 perfect scores in foreign languages. If only considering English, Hanoi has 147 perfect scores, while Ho Chi Minh City has more with 148 perfect scores.
Hanoi's average foreign language score also decreased slightly this year, and its ranking dropped from 3rd in 2023 to 4th in 2024.
In the group of provinces with the lowest test scores, there was almost no change. Twenty out of 63 provinces had an average foreign language test score below 5 points.
In particular, Ha Giang province, despite a slight increase in the average score for foreign languages compared to 2023, only reached 3.92 points.
