Thai Nguyen City: Pruning trees to ensure safety during storm season

From April 16 to May 20, the Thai Nguyen City Urban Public Service Management Board coordinated with Thai Nguyen Urban Environment and Construction Joint Stock Company to implement the first phase of tree pruning on some key roads in the area.

According to the plan, during this period, the two units will focus on pruning perennial trees with large canopies and heights, which are at risk of falling in extreme weather conditions, on roads with high traffic density (such as: Ben Tuong, Phung Chi Kien, National Highway 1B, National Highway 3, Cach Mang Thang Tam, Luong Ngoc Quyen, Dong Quang station area roads...).

Thai Nguyen City currently has more than 4,200 trees on main roads, not to mention the tree system in alleys and residential roads. During the rainy season, failure to promptly check and trim trees can endanger road users, damage structures, and affect urban aesthetics.

In addition, tree pruning also contributes to urban beautification, enhancing the aesthetic value of the landscape, preserving a green - clean - beautiful living environment, and building a civilized and modern Thai Nguyen city.
