With the goal of completing green space, landscape, and creating urban beauty, Thai Nguyen City decided to invest 200 billion VND to implement the project of building landscape behind Vo Nguyen Giap Square, in Trung Vuong ward. Of which, the provincial budget provided over 32 billion VND and over 167 billion VND from the city budget.

The project is deployed on an area of 2.23 hectares, including the following initial items: Traffic roads; leveling; drainage of rainwater and wastewater; water supply, electricity supply; dike improvement...
In particular, the green tree system in the area is designed with many layers, alternating colors; the highlight is the decorative motifs on the Square yard, harmonious between colors and delicate patterns. In the campus, there are arranged resting places with roofs; reading chairs, chairs surrounding tree pots; exercise equipment, children's slides, etc.
The project will start construction in August 2024 and is expected to be completed and put into use in 2026. Currently, Thai Nguyen City is completing bidding procedures to select a construction unit according to the proposed plan.
