Thu Dau Mot City: Launching the "Friendly, security camera and no trash" alley

(BDO) On the morning of June 8, the People's Committee of Phu Hoa Ward, Thu Dau Mot City held a launching ceremony for the alley model "Friendly, security cameras and no trash" (photo) . This is a pilot model deployed by the locality in response to the Project on Building a Cultural and Civilized Urban Lifestyle launched by the Thu Dau Mot City Party Committee.

Attending the ceremony was Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Trinh, President of the Red Cross Society of Binh Duong province.

At the ceremony, Phu Hoa Ward chose Quarter 5 as the pilot area to build the “Friendly, security camera and no trash” alley model; at the same time established and launched the “3 in 1” alley model in alley 172, including the following criteria: Citizens live compassionately, friendly, and affectionately; have security cameras to monitor; people respond to the “No trash city” model.

Phu Hoa Ward assigned the Front Committee of Neighborhood 5 to mobilize people in Alley 172 to install surveillance cameras to ensure security, order and safety in the alley; to propagate and mobilize people to live exemplary lives and be responsible to the community. The Ward People's Committee assigned functional agencies and neighborhoods to mobilize people to put trash in the trash cans provided; collect trash according to regulations; and not leave trash in front of houses and in Alley 172.

Up to now, alley 172 has 27 households; 23 households have installed cameras themselves with a total cost of nearly 35 million VND.

According to the People's Committee of Phu Hoa Ward, based on this pilot model, in the coming time, other neighborhoods of the ward will organize and launch models of friendly alleys, security cameras and no trash.
